Assistant/Associate Professor in Sustainable Business and Management
The Management Department at Appalachian State University invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate beginning Fall, 2016. A Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field is required. A research, teaching, and/or service focus in sustainable business is also required. Professional experience in sustainable business will be taken into consideration. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but the position requires completion of all doctoral requirements by the effective date of the appointment. Instructional duties will include three classes per semester and faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship as well as participate in service activities.

Candidates must have potential to be excellent teachers dedicated to student learning, active researchers publishing in refereed journals, and participating members of the university, professional, and local communities. Candidates for Associate Professor must have an established record of excellence in teaching as well as scholarly activity.
