Dear Colleagues,
I think those of you with an interest in how globalisation produces global labour markets and how organised labour and the state both resists and facilitates the formation of global labour markets will find this book interesting. It also uses examples from the global South (the Philippines and South Africa) to show how globalisation does not automatically mean a race to the bottom for workers. It provides for a more critical reading of both capital and labour. I have a limited number of desk copies. Please email me if you would like a copy and I will mail you one dependent on availability.
