    Dear SIM Colleagues,

Are you interested in Big Data research, especially about social issues such as ethics, corporate governance, diversity & inclusiveness, and environmental sustainability in broad meaning?

We are interested in finding researchers in SIM, GDO, and ONE who are currently using big data and big data science methods - or who are interested in learning more about using these approaches. We will have an informal discussion about how big data and data science methods might expand our ideas about research in SIM, GDO, and ONE: what kinds of big data studies have been done in these areas, and what kinds of questions might we answer with big data?

This is a continuation of a conversation we began at the IABS conference in Amsterdam in July 2017.  Please join us on Tuesday Aug 8 at 8:30AM in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, in the meeting space outside the Imperial Ballroom. If you can't join at that time and have ideas to share, or if you have any questions and suggestions, please email us.
