    I'm writing to ask for your assistance in learning about corporate-funded
    research. For those of you who have direct or indirect experience in this,
    I'd like to start a conversation about finding and creating opportunities
    for funding, issues related to ownership and publication of results,
    potential conflicts of interest, and so on.

    If you have some information to share, please write back to me. I think
    this may be something that will interest a number of folks on the
    listservs, so reply-to-all may be appropriate.
