    The George and Maureen Collins Chaired Professorship
    $ 2 Million Dollar Chair in Strategy with
    Supporting Area in Entrepreneurship or Consulting
    Rank: Associate or Full Professor (tenured position)
    AY 2009-10
    Kogod School of Business, Management Department
    The Department of Management at the Kogod School of Business invites applications and nominations for The George and Maureen Collins Chaired Professorship in Strategy with Supporting Area in Entrepreneurship or Consulting with the appointment to begin Fall 2009.

    Qualifications include:
        - Ph.D. in appropriate field of Management (Strategic Management with a supporting focus on Entrepreneurship or Consulting).
        - Academic and business background that would allow the individual to teach graduate and undergraduate strategic management and entrepreneurship or consulting.
        - Outstanding teaching at all levels.
        - Demonstrated commitment to high-quality research.
        - Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in developing strategic management and entrepreneurship or consulting programs and relationships with the business community.
        - Demonstrated ability to work with other faculty in developing joint research projects and to provide thought leadership in the strategic management and entrepreneurship or consulting areas.
    Responsibilities include:
        - Undergraduate and graduate teaching
        - High-quality research
        - Leadership in developing strategic management and entrepreneurship or consulting programs and relationships with the business community.
        - Participation in department, school, and university activities
        - Willingness to work with other faculty in developing joint research projects
        - Thought leadership in the strategic management and entrepreneurship or consulting areas.
    Rank: Associate or Full Professor
    Salary: Competitive
    Term: Chaired position is for a five-year term, renewable
