Please forgive my cross-posting of this opportunity.

    Dear SIM colleagues,

Every year, the Network for Business Sustainability asks a group of leading sustainability practitioners to identify two topics on which a systematic review of existing research could help their decision-making. The NBS then funds a systematic review of the research on each topic.

The focal questions for this year's two projects are:

    1.       How can we measure and value a firm's ecological impacts (e.g. ecological footprint)?

    2.       How can we build a durable, enduring sustainability corporate culture?

Each project is worth Cdn$25,000. The Calls for Proposals are available on the Network's website at http://www.nbs.net/commuOpportunity.html. The deadline for proposals is November 24, 2009.

Please contact me with questions or to signal your intention to apply.

    Sincerely,

    Tom
