I met someone yesterday that is a counselor (MSW) and he was speaking with me about going to seminary. Due to dyslexia, he is unable to convince a certain denomination that he is a supportable candidate.
I mentioned that possibly, he should consider online classes until he was sure that he was on the right path. I think I saw some discussion about online classes but not necessarily for this but wanted to ask if anyone knows of such a thing? Also, in reflecting on my conversation with the gentleman, if a particular denomination sees potential in a applicant, then is it usually a full ride scholarship? and income payment while in seminary? is the terminal degree usually a PhD?
I apologize in advance for my naïve questions.
Many thanks in Advance
Linda
