    Hello,

As an AOM member and the editor, I would like to inform you that we are  launching a new journal on business and peace:

Business, Peace and Sustainable Development is a new journal launching in autumn 2012 by GSE Research Publishing. Publication will be primarily online. The journal aims at understanding the relationship between business, peace and development.  While research has been published on business and peace and peace through commerce, BPSD aims to be the first journal dedicated to mutual contribution of business and peace.

BPSD welcomes case studies, viewpoints and working papers as well as traditional academic research papers. We welcome contributions from academics, practitioners and policy-makers.  Topics will include:

    -          Cases of corporate peace, peace through commerce, and businesses contributing to peace and development

    -          Theoretical articles and models on business, peace and development

    -          Economic metrics on the mutual contribution of business, economy and peace

    -          Social impact of corporate peace

    -          Tools and mechanisms of corporate peace and sustainable development

    -          Tri-sectorial collaborations (governments, businesses and NGOs) to achieve peace

    -          Stakeholders' perceptions and attitudes on these subjects (e.g. motivations, barriers, attitudes)

    -          Measurements and comparisons of corporate peace in various firms, countries etc.

Please see the journal homepage at  http://www.gseresearch.com/about/BPSD for more information or contact me at debbie.haski-leventhal@mgsm.edu.au
