The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management starting August 2016.
The successful applicant will have completed a Ph.D. in Management or any closely related field at the time of appointment, and will have demonstrated potential to publish in top journals, exhibit excellence in the classroom, and the desire to work in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.
The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is among the most productive in the nation, ranking in the top 20 over the past 5 years in publications in the top-tier Management journals. Our roster includes former editors of AMJ, ORM, and JoM, and current associate editors of AMJ and AMR. The strategy group includes Scott Graffin, Mike Pfarrer, Tim Quigley, and Danny Gamache, while the O.B. group includes Jason Colquitt, Daniel Feldman, Robert Vandenberg, Laura Little, Marie Mitchell, and Jessica Rodell.
