Dear Colleagues,
At the Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD), Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria, we are seeking PhD or PostDoc candidates (4y, 100%) for conducting a research project on "Smart Products and Lifecycle Management" from the perspective of innovation, sustainability or quality management (see attachment). Good German AND English language proficiencies are required!
Tasks:
- Conducting a research project about product lifecycle management and innovation (e.g. Design-for-X/Eco Design) from the perspective of smart products and interconnected value chains ("Industry 4.0"), e.g. in the fields of smart mobility/home/grid
- Project management and collaboration with business partner
- Publishing in scientific journals (paper-based PhD or PostDoc/Habilitation)
- Offering lectures and supervising theses (BSc/MSc/MBA)
- Supporting one of the institute's administrative functions (e.g. Marketing, IT, Finance)
- Contributing to the flourishing of an ambitious new institute
