Dear Colleagues,

we are seeking a PostDoc candidate (4 years, 100%) in the area of innovation, sustainability or quality management at the Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD), Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria,

The Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD), Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria, conducts interdisciplinary research and teaching at the interface of Innovation, Quality and Sustainability Management (http://www.jku.at/iqd). It has recently joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's global Circular Economy initiative. JKU offers excellence in teaching and research, strong international partnerships and a unique campus. Research conducted at four faculties (Social Sciences, Economics & Business; Law; Engineering & Natural Sciences; Medicine) is recognized worldwide. More than 19,000 students are enrolled in over 60 academic degree programmes.

Your tasks:

-             Mentoring of the institute's PhD students and coordination of research projects

-             Conducting an own research project with our strategic partner

-             Publishing in high quality scientific journals

-             Teaching responsibility (1 course with 4 ECTS/semester)

-             Contributing to the flourishing of an ambitious young institute

Your profile:

-             PhD/Doctorate degree (or close to graduation) in a relevant field 

-             Enthusiasm for research and high performance

-             Experience in publishing in peer-reviewed journals

-             Very good English skills (German of advantage, but not necessary)

-             Team spirit
