Dear SIM colleagues,
SIM officer and representative elections typically occur in April. The
nominations process typically closes not later than the end of
February. Your 2007 SIM nominations committee comprises: Kathy Rehbein -
past division chair; Duane Windsor - current division chair, Tom Donaldson
- incoming division chair, Shawn Berman and Lance Moir, elected
representatives.
Please send any nominations / suggestions for SIM officer and
representative candidates to Duane Windsor by return email

odw@rice.edu>. Self-nominations are permissible.
There are three open positions (everything else is a movement up in office,
each with a write-in option):
(1) Program chair elect (assistant program chair handling pre-conference
program), in succession to Ann Buchholtz who becomes the nominated
candidate for program chair.
(2) Representative at large - in succession to Laquita Blockson (rotating
off after 3-year term).
(3) Representative at large - in succession to Patricia Kelley (rotating
off after 3-year term).
The continuing reps-at-large and terms of office are:
