Dear colleagues,
This year IABS is sponsoring/hosting a coffee session at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename></st1:place> to reconnect with SIM members and to raise our profile among some of the other divisions.
Melissa Baucus and Colin Higgins will have information flyers available for the 2013 (<st1:city w:st="on">Portland</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">Oregon</st1:state>) and 2014 (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Sydney</st1:city>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">Australia</st1:country-region></st1:place>) IABS conferences – and they will also have some general information available about IABS: who we are, what we do, and the benefits of engaging with us.
IABS sponsors the quarterly journal Business & Society (now in volume 51), published by Sage. BAS is listed in SSCI.
The coffee session is being held directly after the SIM Program Overview and Division Chair's Address on Monday 6 August. It will be at 8am-9am outside the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Provincetown</st1:place></st1:city> room at the <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Marriott Copley Place</st1:address></st1:street>.
Please come along and help us wave the flag, and also bring a friend who hasn't been to IABS before. It would also be great if you're able to spread the word about the coffee session amongst colleagues in the division you attend.
