To SIM Members:
Hope all is going well for you! Summer is right around the corner, which means we will be gathering in Boston before we know it. It is time, then, to open up nominations for the 2012 Social Issues in Management Book Award!
Books published between January 2007 and December 2011 are eligible for this award. Nominated authors need not be members of SIM, but it is always wonderful to honor those in the Division for their hard work. Textbooks and edited books with multiple contributors are not eligible.
Nominated books will be rated on their relevance to SIM, contribution(s) to the field, and empirical and/or theoretical rigor. Potential topics covered by nominated books include, but are not limited to:
Corporate social responsibility/performance
Business ethics Stakeholder theory
Corporate governance Issues Management
Sustainability/Environment Reputation
Compliance
Please send nominations or questions to: mahon@maine.edu. The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2012.
