Hi Everyone,

At the Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia in August, a group of us organized an All-Academy Symposium on the Future of the Corporation in the 21st Century. The panel included me as organizer, Allen White (Co-Founder of the Global Reporting Initiative and Corporation 2020, and vice president at Tellus Institute), Mark Goyder (CEO and founder of Tomorrow's Company in England), Jane Nelson (Director of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government CSR Initiative), Peter Lacy (Managing Director of EABIS-the European Academy of Business in Society), and James Post (Professor of Management and Public Policy at Boston University).

We believe that this conversation is an important one that deserves to be raised broadly in society and in academic circles like our own, so we are forwarding to you a summary of the panelists' comments for your reading pleasure (should you so choose!).

    Best regards,

    Sandra
