To all,
I'd like to offer my thanks to all of the people who made this year's Social Issues in Management program possible:
- Those of you who submitted papers and symposia, without which there is no program
- The 442 Simians who reviewed submissions
- The outstanding group of 51 Associate Editors, who helped me make the tough calls about what to include in the program
- Those of you who helped select various award winners as committee chairs and committee members (Best Paper, Best Student Paper, Best Paper on the History of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Best Book)
- All of the schools and centers that sponsored PDWs, receptions, and the chair's address
A full report will be coming in the next SIM newsletter. Feedback about any element of the program would be most welcome to me at
hjvb3@unm.edu.
And finally, thanks for the privilege of serving as SIM program chair. It really was a lot of fun! I enjoyed our time in Philadelphia and hope that all of you who attended did too.
Best regards,
Harry
