The final stretch: SIM submissions - and reviewers!

    To all,

Many of you are working on finishing your papers to submit to SIM. As of now, we have 162 submissions and I anticipate many more! If you haven't entered or finalized your submission, please make sure that it follows all of the AOM guidelines. I'm checking in submissions now and the vast majority of submissions are within the all-inclusive 40-page limit, follow AMJ style, have no author identifying information in the document, and include the five-digit submission number in the header (among other submission requirements; visit http://aom.org/annualmeeting/submission/scholarly/guidelines/). If you submit tomorrow, remember that the deadline is 5:00 pm ET(http://submissions.aomonline.org/2014/default.asp?mode=login). The system will be extra slow tomorrow, so be patient!

Right now there are more than 300 reviewers signed up, but I anticipate that we (and especially I!) will need many more. If you haven't signed up to review for SIM this year, please do so at http://review.aomonline.org/aom.asp. Review assignments will be going out next week.

I'm excited to be SIM Program Chair this year, and am looking forward to the next several months as the program comes together. A big thank you to everyone whose volunteer effort makes the SIM division go!

    Harry
