Dear Social Issues in Management Division members,

One of the most important things that you can to do support the division is to participate in the annual SIM election. Every year we elect a Professional Development Workshop chair-elect (who will proceed through the leadership cycle to become program chair and eventually division chair) and two representatives-at-large.

There is an excellent slate of candidates this year who have agreed to stand for election. The election is open until May 15 or so, but it's easy to vote (and a nice break from grading!). Simply go here and follow the instructions:

As of last week, about ten percent of the division's members had voted in the election. If you have voted, thanks! And if you haven't voted, please do so.

    Harry
