We are recruiting for multiple Tenure Track and Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions.  Please post and share this notice.

    Job Description:

Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) Seeks Tenure-Track and Non-Tenure Track Faculty

With support from University of Cambridge's Judge Business School, the Karachi School for Business and Leadership is currently in development and will commence the KSBL MBA in September 2012.

Located in the largest city in Pakistan and the commercial, trade and banking capital of the country, KSBL intends to become the premier business school in the region. More information about KSBL

and KEI can be found on their website: www.KSBL.org.

KSBL is seeking several tenure track faculty members (research‐active), as well as a number of non tenure‐track ones (whose primary responsibility will be teaching) in the areas of Strategy,

Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management and Economics.

Tenure track faculty members will be expected to contribute substantially to research by publishing work of high intellectual standard. In most cases, this will mean that a person appointed to a

tenure‐track teaching position will already have a PhD degree and either an established publication record, or have sufficient work in the pipeline to display clear potential for such a pathway. The

typical teaching load will be highly reasonable.

Research expectations from non‐tenure track candidates will be lower but they will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development in their respective area and to KSBL Executive

Education programmes. Student project administration and advising are also expected. Up to 20% of work time may be spent on outside work, except, of course, that any such outside

commitments must not interfere with the professor's performance in his/her academic work. There is an entitlement to sabbatical leave, accumulated on the basis of one year's leave for every six years

    in office.

Finally, faculty members will have opportunities to spend time at Cambridge University and to interact with Cambridge faculty.

This is a highly attractive opportunity to be part of an emerging business school, which will soon make its name in the region. The salaries will be globally competitive and faculty members will be

located in a brand new custom built building designed by one of the world's leading architects, William McDonough.

Appointment will be from June 1, 2012, or as soon as possible thereafter. If you are interested, please write to:
