Dear SIMians:
Wouldn't it be great if there was one location where SIM and Business Ethics professors could share their favorite class and workshop activities? Well, the time has come to create one!
On behalf of the SIM governance board, an SIM subcommittee (Anke Arnaud & Denis Collins) is currently collecting "social issues in management" and "business ethics" teaching exercises or activities that others can access on the SIM website (http://sim.aomonline.org/) and use in the classroom or for workshops. What types of exercises and activities do you use that encourage students to reflect on social issues and business ethics within our profit and performance driven social and economic systems?
If you have teaching exercises and/or activities that you are willing to share with other members, please (1) describe them in the box below, and (2) if possible, attach the assignment or directions (either as a Word document or PDF). You may submit multiple exercises and activities.
Please send your response to dcollins@edgewood.edu. We will accept these at any time, but for sake of efficiency would prefer if you email them by September 11. This email is a follow-up to a similar email request sent prior to the conference, so if you already sent us something there is no need to send it again.
Thanks.
