AOM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP - Ask the Experts: Publishing SIM/ONE Research in Top Journals

    Sunday, Aug 5 2007 10:00AM - 11:00AM at Loews Philadelphia in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:state w:st="on">Washington</st1:state></st1:place> A

Given the difficulty that SIM and ONE researchers have publishing their work in the top journals, this PDW is designed as an interactive experience designed to provide a variety of insights from scholars both directly involved in SIM research and those in related areas in terms of how one publishes SIM and similar areas in the top, general interest management journals such as AMJ, AMR, SMJ, OBHDP, JAP, OS and SMJ. The format of the session will be informal in that each panelist will make some opening remarks about their experience publishing in these types of top journals. Once the opening remarks have been concluded, the session will be structured as an interactive Q&A experience among the attendees and the panelists.

This workshop will discuss ideas on how to develop SIM/ONE research papers so they can compete effectively for space in the top tier Management journals.

The faculty for the workshop are as follow:
