    You should have received a note reminding you to vote in the AOM elections.  What makes this particularly salient is that our own Gordon Rands has been nominated for one of the representative at large positions.  I would encourage you to vote Gordon #1 on that particular set.

    I apologize if this seems presumptuous, but I have never had my work receive Business Week attention.  Given how rarely "green" research gets mentioned in that medium, I thought I would share the following link.  It is a discussion of the SMJ paper that a colleague and I had published that examined environmental risk management and the cost of capital.

    I appreciate Mark's kind words about my being a candidate for the Board of Governors. However, the Academy has a "no campaigning" rule that I am sure that Mark was not aware of, but that his message inadvertently violated.

    There are many fine candidates in the election, and I simply encourage you to vote for whichever individuals you feel will best further the governance of the Academy.
