The Division of Management in the Price College of Business at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:placetype></st1:place> is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor position in STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.  This is a tenure track position for a recently trained Ph.D.   Candidates who are ABD and at an advanced stage of their dissertation are encouraged to apply as are more advanced Assistant Professors.  Candidates must have a demonstrated record of research or an emerging research stream that includes potential for publication in leading academic journals.  Duties will include a standard teaching load of 6 hours per semester, advising Ph.D. students, maintaining an active and creative research agenda, developing synergistic relationships with colleagues, and a contribution of service to the college, profession, and university.  Compensation will be competitive.  The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:placename></st1:placetype></st1:place> is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.  Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Earned Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship or related discipline, or ABD with dissertation defended by August 2009.  The position is to be filled by August 2009.  The initial deadline for candidates is <st1:date year="2009" day="1" month="4" ls="trans" w:st="on">April 1, 2009</st1:date> and will remain open until the position is filled.
