*** Apologies for cross-postings***
Dear colleagues,
Although you might have seen the below call, we would like to call your attention to three special aspects related to the Corporate Responsibility conference (Sept. 16-18, 2015 in Marseille, France):
- There is a micro-CSR track in which we will have working sessions designed to give feed-back to each other, with the aim of publishing in high-quality journals. Abstracts are due by June 15th with full manuscripts due July 31st
- After the conference, on Sept. 19, there will be an informal gathering of scholars interested in micro-CSR. The goal is to create an informal peer support network. We plan to meet in a nice setting with informal sessions aimed to give feedback to each others work as well as inspire future research.
- Related to the conference, there is a special issue of Frontiers in Psychology (impact factor 2.8) on micro-CSR. Details are listed below. Authors do not have to submit to the conference, although conference submission will help in developmental feedback.
Best wishes,
Chelsea Willness, David Jones, and Ante Glavas

1. Corporate Responsibility Conference and Micro-CSR Track
Authors submitting to the conference should specify if they want their manuscript considered for the special issue (described below).
Abstract deadline: June 15, 2015
Manuscripts deadline: July 31, 2015
2. Informal gathering of micro-CSR scholars
The gathering will take place the day after the conference, Sept. 19, in an informal setting (location tbd, but probably close to sea, in nature). There will be no registration fees although fees for food and related costs are tbd (depending on sponsorship which is looking probable).
The main goal is to develop an informal peer support network. We plan to continue with informal feedback to our own existing reaserach papers. But also, we will have group discussions on assessing what we know, don't know, and future key trends in the field - as an input for each of us to think about future research projects that can have an impact. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail ante.glavas@kedgebs.com
3. Special issue of Frontiers in Psychology on micro-CSR
A focus on stakeholder well-being has long been integral to CSR scholarship. Only recently, however, have researchers devoted sustained attention to understanding how employees-both current and prospective-perceive, engage in, and react to CSR initiatives directed at themselves and other stakeholders external to the firm. The recent and dramatic increase in "micro" CSR research published in leading management journals has positioned this area as a mainstream topic of study, and exciting theoretical and empirical advances are beginning to emerge. We are therefore thrilled to invite scholars from fields such as OB, HR, I/O Psychology and related management disciplines to join us in submitting research in this topic area. Interested scholars will have additional opportunities to attend and meet at the developmental workshops at the Corporate Responsibility Conference from September 16 – 18, 2015 in Marseille, France http://www.crrconference.org/.
Abstract deadline: June 15, 2015 (not a prerequisite for submission of full manuscripts but highly recommended)
Manuscripts deadline: October 31, 2015
Submission to the special issue is not contingent upon attending the conference, but is recommended. Authors will be able to receive feedback at the conference as well as from the editors before submitting their full manuscripts to the special issue.
