This particular project is focused on the topic of "institutional entrepreneurship" (DiMaggio, 1988; Fligstein, 1997, 2001; Lawrence & Suddaby, 2006; Garud, Jain, & Kumaraswamy, 2002; Greenwood & Suddaby, 2007) – which asks about how and why actors take it upon themselves to change the norms, rules, and enforcement mechanisms of the organizations or fields in which they reside. The motives and methods behind attempting to change the "rules of the game" is a fascinating area for intellectual inquiry. Institutional entrepreneurship is a behavior that requires an understanding of people, systems, and goal directed behavior – i.e. the psychological, sociological, and managerial. Thus, we are ideally looking for someone with experience in at least one of these areas. But, above all, we are looking for evidence of talent – i.e. intelligence, diligence, and entrepreneurialism.
