Thank you to everyone who submitted papers, panels, and workshops, to
those who served as reviewers, to those who have agreed to serve as
session chairs, and to everyone else who helped to put the program
together!
In addition to our paper, panel, and workshop sessions, we have several
invited events--many thanks to these speakers as well!:
--On Thursday, August 4, from 4:30-5:45pm, Tim Mazur (Former COO, Ethics
& Compliance Officer Association and Bill Daniels Distinguished
Professor of Business Ethics, University of Wyoming) will lead a panel
on "Taking Business Ethics Scholar-Practitioner Collaboration to the
Next Level"
--On Friday, August 5, from 1:30-2:30pm, Mayor of Anaheim Tom Tait will
give our Plenary talk on business and Anaheim (and yes, he has a lot to
say about Disney!)
--On Friday, August 5, from 3:00-4:15pm, Denis Arnold (Editor, Business
Ethics Quarterly; University of North Carolina) will lead a panel on
"Qualitative Research Methods in Business Ethics and CSR: Best (and
Worst!) Practices"
--On Saturday, August 6, from 5:30-6:30pm, Saru Jayaraman (Co-Founder
and Co-Director of the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United (ROC
United) and Director of the Food Labor Research Center at University of
California, Berkeley) will give our SBE/SIM Keynote Address, followed by
the SBE/SIM Keynote Reception.
