****APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING***
Friends,
We invite you to participate in the PDW on "Building and strengthening research partnerships in India" on Friday, August 1st from 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM. You can find the session details at: http://program.aom.org/2014/submission.asp?mode=ShowSession&SessionID=1138.
This PDW is primarily targeted at researchers/young scholars in India (and rest of South Asia) who are just beginning to develop a research stream, and scholars elsewhere seeking to conduct research in India. The PDW provides an opportunity to meet, discuss, get feedback and form partnerships on ongoing or planned research projects. The mentoring relationships and research partnerships formed during this PDW will hopefully translate to more impactful and higher quality scholarly output.
We invite
(a) doctoral students and scholars from South Asia seeking research mentorship,
(b) senior scholars who are willing to be mentors, and
(c) scholars elsewhere seeking research partners within India to conduct research
to consider attending this PDW.
Attendees have to pre-register for this event. Please follow the instructions provided below to receive the registration code from the organizers.
· Doctoral Students/Young Scholars: Please send a brief description/abstract of a study you are conducting or have completed recently along with your areas of research interest.
· Senior scholars willing to be mentors: Please indicate your areas of research expertise so we can pair you with doctoral students/young scholars who could benefit from your expertise.
· Scholars seeking research partners in India: Please indicate the area of study so as to identify potential partners in India.
Please send the above information to any of the co-organizers of this PDW (the contact information is provided below). The organizers will send the approval code, and any pre-meeting materials to you. You can then register for this event by visiting https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg.
Hope to see many of you at the PDW on August 1st,
Best wishes,
--Nagaraj
