You have three good options to get to the Monday, August 7, 7:00–9:00 pm, SIM Reception at the HAM:
(1) Public Transportation: MARTA/the train; (2) Uber/Cab; (3) Private Bus – Buckhead Coach
1) Public Transportation, MARTA (the train) (approximately 17 minutes)
Round trip cost is $6.00 ($2.50 per segment, plus $1.00 for ticket)
From the Atlanta Marriott Marquis
265 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303
Walk about 2 blocks south (to Ellis St.) and 1 block west (to Peachtree NW) 8 min, 0.3 mi
At the Peachtree Center Transit Station (MARTA)
Take Metro Gold Northbound Direction towards Doraville Station
Stay on train for 3 stops (approx. 4 min) Stop ID: 908601
Depart train at Midtown Transit Station (exit on the Peachtree Place side of the station)
Getting off on Peachtree Place NE, Walk 1 block to the west until reaching Peachtree St. NW.
On Peachtree St. NW, walk two blocks south (until reaching 7th St. SE). Voilà! You are at the HAM!
2) Uber/Cab (approximately 20 minutes in traffic)

3) Private Bus – Buckhead Coach (approximately 20 minutes in traffic)
To the HAM from Hotel: SIM has chartered two large buses – each with a capacity of 56 persons – from Buckhead Coach. They will be parked outside of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. The first bus will begin loading at approximately 6:30pm – it will depart when full or by 6:45 at the latest. The second bus will begin loading at approximately 6:40pm – it will depart when full or by 6:55 at the latest. The first bus will return to the Hotel for another circuit – at approximately 7:15pm – it will depart when full or by 7:30 at the latest.
From the HAM to Hotel: Both buses will begin loading passengers at 9:00pm. The first will depart when full but no later than 9:30. The second will depart no later than 9:30.
