    Dear friends of SIM,

    Continuing an experiment we tried last year with much success, the Social Issues in Management Division will be holding its annual social event offsite.  This year, the SIM Social is being held at the beautiful Art Institute of Chicago in the Grand Staircase.  The Art Institute is catering the event with a bar and a variety of culinary delights and hors d'oeuvres to satisfy anyone's taste.  The Art Institute is one of the premier art museums in the world.  


    Please note the following event details:

    When: Monday, August 13, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:30 (immediately after the SIM Business Meeting)
    Where: 

    The Art Institute of Chicago
    111 South Michigan Avenue
    Chicago, Illinois 60603-6404

    The venue is located less than one mile from the Chicago Marriott Hotel.  Shuttle buses will be waiting outside the Marriott starting at 6:15 and will take us all back to the hotel.  They will be available throughout the event for anyone who wants to head back early.  

    SHUTTLE BUSES WILL BE PARKED AT THE CORNER OF OHIO AND RUSH STREETS outside the Marriott Hotel.

    SIM members and guests will have access to the art museum's galleries for the first hour.  Feel free to bring your spouse or loved ones to roam these magnificent exhibits.  

    This event is co-sponsored by the ICN Business School in Nancy-Metz, France.
