Social Issues in Management Research Incubator Update
Although the deadline for submissions has passed, we have limited space for a few walk-ins to the Professional Development Workshop in Vancouver.
So, if you have a great research idea but want feedback on how best to refine it into an impactful project, please consider stopping by the SIM Research Incubator this August. It provides an opportunity to meet, discuss and get expert feedback on early ideas for research projects in the social issues in management field. The idea is to exchange ideas, get feedback, and identify possible collaborations with others.
The confirmed facilitators this year include:
Andrew Crane, York University
Rob Phillips, University of Richmond
Duane Windsor, Rice University
During the session, the topic leader will present some ideas of what they think the exciting new research topics are in the specified area. Then the topic leader and the other participants will provide feedback on each of the ideas submitted beforehand.
To maximize the quality of the sessions, we will restrict the number of participants. Only a limited number of walk-ins will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Bring 2 copies of your proposal with you (approximately 1-3 pages in length).
The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2:15-4:15pm Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel, Tuscany Room.
