    Dear Fellow SIMians:

As you may be aware, the current editorial team of Business & Society will be wrapping up their term soon and I, along with three colleagues at Rutgers, will be assuming editorship. I'm not sure everyone is clear on the timing, though, so I do want to note that the official switchover is not until January 1, 2020. Of course, we're plotting and planning now, and both teams are working closely together in the interim.

My incoming editorial team, which includes Ted Baker, Joanne Ciulla, and Danielle Warren, are beginning to organize all the parts that it takes to run a great journal like Business & Society. In the coming months, we'll be reaching out to prospective associate editors and editorial board members. We hope you'll be receptive! We know that giving freely of your time is not an easy ask, but we also know that it's critical to the journal's success that many do.

I'll close by noting what great shape the journal is in. As a field, we should indeed be proud of all that the current editorial team has done to advance Business & Society. We take over in a time of strength, and thank Andy Crane, Frank de Bakker, Irene Henriques, Bryan Husted, and Dirk Matten, for their years of productive and effective service to the journal. We also thanks IABS for their ongoing support.

I hope to see many of you at the upcoming IABS meeting in sunny San Diego, or if not then, perhaps in less sunny but also enjoyable Boston at AOM in August. In the meantime, should you have any questions, or any suggestions regarding format, content, structure, overall approach, or any aspect of Business & Society, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. It's our journal, not mine, and I seek all input and assistance that proves helpful in ensuring it is the premier journal at the interface of business and society.

    Best,

    Mike
