Howdy SIMians. Next April, AOM is hosting its first specialized conference, Big Data and Managing in a Digital Economy, held April 18-20, hosted by the University of Surrey in Surrey, UK, which is not too far outside of London. Consider attending. Submissions are via extended abstract, not full papers, so it has very much a development bent. I'm on the organizing committee and made sure SIM interests are well-represented. Track 6 is the most relevant, though certainly consider your fit with any of the tracks. It would be great to have SIM well represented at this inaugural effort at a new AOM conference format.
