2015 SMS Conference Extension - Fort Worth - October 2, 2015
| | | | | You're Invited Please join us for the 2015 Strategic Management Society Conference Extension in
Fort Worth, Texas, USA, October 2, 2015. Our extension will begin on Thursday evening with a reception on the rooftop terrace of the Reata Restaurant in downtown Fort Worth, just a block from the conference hotel. On Friday morning, shuttles will take participants on a short drive to TCU's beautiful campus. After breakfast we will be treated to presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions with the prominent scholars shown below, whose research has helped move the corporate governance literature toward a broader understanding of corporate governance. Sessions will focus on how scholars can begin to expand the boundaries of the corporate governance domain, the potential research questions that are most pressing, and what the theoretical and practical consequences might be-positive or negative-of losing our focus on the shareholder-firm relationship. Breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and conference opening and closing receptions are all included, and plenty of break time will be available for mingling with other scholars throughout the day. The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport is a major U.S. hub airport that has convenient connections to Denver and around the world for those going on to the Strategic Management Society Conference in Denver.
