    Colleagues,

With normal apologies for cross-posting, I want to remind you of the opportunity to submit proposals for the IABS 2012 Conference to be held in Asheville, North Carolina, June 14-17, 2012. I wish to extend a special invitation to those of you who have never attended an IABS meeting. The small size, relaxed nature, and wonderful settings of IABS meetings make them experiences to be long remembered.

Submissions on all business and society topics, including those relating to environmental sustainability, are invited, whether they relate to the conference theme or not. Submissions related to the theme - Personal Responsibility for Improving Society - are particularly encouraged. Details regarding the theme, the conference, proposal types and formats, and submission requirements are provided in the attached call for submissions.

The submission deadline is December 5th, 2011. Submissions need only be 2-5 pages in length, depending upon the type of proposal. See the attached call for details.

Asheville, located in the heart of the southern Appalachian mountains in western North Carolina is a beautiful and vibrant city, with tremendous artistic, cultural, recreational, architectural, and entertainment resources. Those who have been to Asheville are in broad agreement that it is one of the most interesting small cities in the United States. See the conference web site - http://www.iabs.net/Conference.aspx - for more information about Asheville and the western North Carolina region.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. I look forward to receiving your submissions, and to seeing you in Asheville in June 2012!

    Gordon
