The Foisie School of Business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applicants for an opening at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to teach and conduct research in organizational studies beginning in the 2016-2017 academic year. We are looking for scholarly activity in high quality journals; excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in organization studies (OB, leadership and change): a strong interest in advising student projects; and a desire to contribute to the mission of the Foisie School of Business and WPI. While we are open to all research areas, we are particularly interested in research related broadly to innovation, leadership, change, and creativity. Faculty in this area currently teach courses in interpersonal relations, organizational leadership and change, organizational design, creativity, ethics, sustainability, CSR, and strategy. Experience with distance learning and executive education is also desirable. The Ph.D. degree of the candidate should be in Organizational Behavior/Change or a closely–related field.
