    Dear Colleagues:

    A last minute reminder.

We invite you to submit a Full Paper or Abstract to the Social Issues and Sustainability track of the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute.

Social Issues and Sustainability - Organizational sustainability has become increasingly important, due to scarce natural resources and increased regulatory, stakeholder and consumer pressures to limit industry and individual's ecological footprint. Organizations are responding by incorporating sustainability considerations throughout all functions within their organizations.  This track is focused on these issues, but also includes social issues that are at the nexus of environmental and economic concerns facing organizations. Potential topics include, but are not limited, to the following:

    Closed-loop systems and supply chains
    Eco-design and Industrial ecology
    Circular economy and carbon economy
    Sustainability and performance
Institutional and Stakeholder theory and sustainability decisions
    Sustainable supply chain management
Corporate social responsibility and social performance
    Corporate citizenship and philanthropy
    Corporate governance, regulation and compliance
    Environmental product and service industries
Pollution control and prevention and waste minimization
    Environmental auditing and information systems
    Green information systems
    Industrial self-regulation
    Managing human resources for sustainability
    Ecological crisis management
Natural resources and systems management, protection and restoration
