Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share the Call for Proposals for the upcoming Social Networks Society (SNS) Paper Development Workshop, to be held at Fudan University School of Management (Shanghai) on June 5, 2026, with the support of Fudan University School of Management and the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR).
This in-person workshop is designed to provide developmental feedback on network-focused research and to offer guidance on publishing in leading management journals.
The panel currently includes:

- Fabio Fonti (NEOMA Business School; Co-President, Social Networks Society)
Additional panelists may be confirmed prior to the workshop.
We welcome submissions of short papers or research proposals grounded in social network theory and/or methods across areas such as strategy, organization theory, organizational behavior, HRM, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Consistent with SNS's developmental mission, we especially encourage submissions from PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty, although scholars at all career stages are welcome.
Submission deadline: May 8, 2026 (23:59 Beijing time)
Format: In-person (Shanghai)

The workshop will be highly selective (approx. 20–25 participants) to ensure in-depth, constructive feedback.
Full details, including submission guidelines and the submission link, are available in the attached Call for Proposals.
We would be grateful if you could share this announcement with colleagues and doctoral students who might be interested.
Many thanks, and we look forward to receiving your submissions!
All the best,
Fabio Fonti (NEOMA Business School; Co-President, Social Networks Society)
