Howdy. I've been making a push in various ways to promote relevance in our research. Our work really should matter, but there's a mountain to climb to make this happen at scale.
As a bit of a base camp for climbing this, well, MATTERhorn, I recently created an AOM community called Practice Oriented Scholarship (POS). Here, we can share ideas, events, relevant materials, etc., so that we can mutually facilitate our ascent We'll never get there alone, but together, we can do it.
