π·οΈ Organise your comments with a summary, strengths, and weaknesses: Such a structure helps authors to see the most important areas for improvement. Helps having numbered points so that they can refer to it (esp. for journal R&Rs).
πΌοΈ Be mindful of the tone (and any biases): provide actionable feedback, positively framed.
πͺ Reviewing is a continuous improvement process - you will always be learning and refining your skills.
