    Dear colleagues,

    We are excited to announce an open position for a Post-Doctoral role at the Center for Corporate Responsibility (CCR) at the School of Management and Law at ZHAW in the Zurich area.

    The Postdoctoral Researcher will work on an ambitious research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The project aims to improve our understanding of why, when, and how corporate scandals are reactivated and reframed over time. You will work with Prof. Marco Clemente, co-head of the Center for Corporate Responsibility ZHAW SML, and the two external partners of the SNSF project: Prof. Aziza Laguecir at EDHEC Business School and Prof. Bernard Leca at ESSEC Business School.

    The position is funded for 36 months starting in the first half of 2024.

    Your profile

    • You have a Ph.D. in management or related areas, ideally on the topic of organizational wrongdoing or, more broadly, corporate reputation and social evaluation. You are interested in the interdisciplinary research on scandals.
    • You have excellent communication skills in English, and you are willing to manage a media dataset in Italian and in French. 
    • You have experience in qualitative methods, with the willingness to learn about quantitative methods. 
    • You have a strong interest in publishing in top journals in the field (ABS AJG: 4 or 4*)
    • You have a strong ability to work autonomously, you are team-oriented, and you have a high level of commitment and motivation.
