PRME Special Issue of the International Journal of Management Education (IJME) on pedagogy, creativity, RME, and SDGs

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is thrilled to announce the Call for Papers for a special issue of the International Journal of Management Education (IJME).

This special issue explores pedagogical innovation for the development of responsible management skills among students and professionals as well as educators. Impact and effectiveness of such innovation could include the development of cognitive, behavioral and/or personal competence development. Sustainable development is an interdisciplinary issue that connects business with the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. We strongly encourage views that go beyond traditional business school pedagogies and are explicit in supporting the holistic nature of the SDGs. Traditional education methods alone cannot disrupt the entrenched business norms and education systems around the world. Educators need to emphasize impactful teaching methodologies to promote responsible business practices and foster sustainable development.

The International Journal of Management Education's submission system is now open. When submitting your manuscript to Editorial Manager, please select the article type "VSI: Creative teaching methods."

All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Once your manuscript is accepted, it will go into production, and will be simultaneously published in the current regular issue and pulled into the online Special Issue. Articles from this Special Issue will appear in different regular issues of the journal, though they will be clearly marked and branded as Special Issue articles.

Please ensure you read the Guide for Authors before writing your manuscript. The Guide for Authors and link to submit your manuscript is available on the Journal's homepage at: The International Journal of Management Education | ScienceDirect.com by Elsevier.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please consult the full details, including criteria for submission, in the attached document. Manuscripts must be submitted by 31 August 2024. Please reach out to the editors below for further questions or connect with us at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting at session 10049: Responsible Management Pedagogy Caucus - Innovating the Future Through Impactful i5 Pedagogy at 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at Swissotel Chicago in Élevé River View 2.
