    Dear SIMians and friends,

Conferences are great to catch up, cherish old ties and forge new ones. After several years of online conferencing, all of us now look forward to new possibilities. So: would you like to meet other SIMians? One great way is by organising off-programme events during the AoM Annual Meeting week (August 5th - 10th). If you are interested, here are the steps:

    1. Sign-up: By July 18th. Head over to: https://forms.gle/nUpg6WDp9zdA1Lt29

    2. Location: This could be in Seattle, online, or perhaps a meetup in your own city. Provide details - the more, the better for the decision-making of any potential attendee. If online, via which software/website/app? If in your own city or Seattle, is there a precise location, e.g., a cafe/restaurant/bar/park etc.?

    3. Date & time (and time zone 😊): Please do not schedule these during the key division meetings (e.g., Business Meeting and Social).

    4. Event details: Give as much description as possible. Ideas: research roundtables, fireside chats, sight-seeing, exercising, community outreach, sampling the cuisine, as well as online research idea pitching sessions, R&R feedback sessions, online speed-networking sessions... Feel free to suggest other options/activities!

    5. Next steps: If your event speaks to the SIM Community, we will add it, along with the details you provide, to our division's calendar and we will circulate it via our listserv and social media. We would also recommend that you do the same!

If you have any questions, please contact us!
